Founded in 1979, the California Long-Term Care Ombudsman Association (CLTCOA) is the leading voice for local Long-Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman programs. CLTCOA’s training, technical assistance, and systemic advocacy efforts have enabled our LTC Ombudsman programs to succeed in their work protecting the health, safety, rights, and quality of life of aging and dependent adults in our communities. CLTCOA and our local, statewide, and national partners are shaping the future of aging in California by ensuring that the over 300,000 adults living in long-term care facilities have access to excellence in advocacy through their local LTC Ombudsman program.
