Andrea Bruhnke is the Program Coordinator for the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program of Humboldt and Del Norte Counties in California’s beautiful north coast, a background in social services and long-term care. She worked as the Director of an Adult Day Health Care program, worked at Senior Advocacy Services in Petaluma with the Spanish speaking community as a Medicare counselor and advocate, and began her career with older adults in Assisted Living.
In addition to her work as an Ombudsman and member of the CLTCOA Board, Andrea serves as the Board Treasurer for LatinoNet, a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the Spanish speaking community on the north coast. Andrea spends most of her free time rock climbing and practicing as a new team member of Humboldt Roller Derby by the derby name Furious George. Andrea is motivated to furiously advocate for residents of long-term care!
