John Geiger works for Passages, the Area Agency on Aging which serves Butte, Glenn, Tehama, Plumas and Colusa Counties in Northern California. John started his Ombudsman career as a volunteer Ombudsman in 2019. During the COVID Crisis he was hired on full time as a Field Ombudsman and quickly rose to become the Coordinator of the program. Prior to his Ombudsman career, John was self-employed running various businesses including a very popular hot dog stand near the Chico State campus. John lives with his wife, two kids, and two large breed dogs, Bella and Archie. In his free time John travels to the Philippines where his wife’s family originates.
